Terms of Service

Effective August 13, 2026 · Applies to sportsaro.com and the Sportsaro mobile app

These terms are the agreement between you and Sportsaro. We've written them in plain English on purpose. By creating an account or using Sportsaro, you agree to them.

Who can use Sportsaro

  • You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account.
  • Younger athletes participate through profiles created and managed by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for that profile.
  • You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password private.

Your content

  • You own what you post. Your videos, photos, and words remain yours.
  • By posting, you give Sportsaro permission to store, display, and distribute your content on the platform according to your visibility settings — that's what makes feeds, profiles, and shareable pages work. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content remains in moderation or legal records.
  • Only post what you have the right to post. Don't upload other people's copyrighted material.
  • We may remove content that violates the Community Guidelines.

Selling on Sportsaro (Stores)

  • Free to open. A business store costs nothing to create and has no required monthly fee or listing fee.
  • Sportsaro's fee. When you make a sale, Sportsaro earns 10% of the merchandise price. The fee is not charged on shipping or on sales tax.
  • Your Stripe account. Payments are processed on your own Stripe account, which you connect through Sportsaro. You pay Stripe's payment-processing fees on each sale. Sportsaro does not hold your funds; Stripe pays you out under your own Stripe terms.
  • You are the seller. You are responsible for your products, descriptions, prices, shipping, returns, refunds, customer disputes and any taxes on your sales. Refunds and chargebacks are handled on your Stripe account. When merchandise is refunded, or a dispute over it is lost, Sportsaro's fee on that merchandise is returned to your Stripe account automatically, in proportion to the merchandise refunded; refunded shipping or sales tax does not return any fee.
  • Sales tax. Stripe calculates sales tax at checkout only where your Stripe account holds a tax registration. Registering, collecting and remitting tax is your responsibility.
  • Standards. Listings must follow the Community Guidelines and applicable law; Sportsaro may remove listings or close stores that do not.

Acceptable use

The Community Guidelines are part of these terms. Breaking them can mean losing your account. Don't misuse the platform — no scraping, no attempting to access other people's data, no interfering with the service.

The service

  • Sportsaro is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it fast, safe, and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sportsaro's liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (for free accounts, that's zero).
  • We may update, change, or discontinue features as the platform evolves.

Ending the relationship

  • You can delete your account at any time, which removes your profile and content from the platform.
  • We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the community at risk.

Legal odds and ends

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA.
  • If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and its effective date, and notify members for significant changes.
  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
